Description
Description of Work: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove and reconstruct the Miner's Delight Exclosure Fence in accordance with the contract. The existing fence to be removed consists of approximately 900 feet of 4-wire fence, 1,250-feet of post-and-pole, and 1,900 feet of buck-and-rail fence, as well as one large steel-frame gate, one small steel-frame gate, one stile pedestrian walk-through gate, and two wire gates. Instead, the contractor shall construct 3,250 feet of 2-wire pole top fence, 350 feet of 3-wire pole top fence, and 550 feet of buck-and-rail fence, as well as one large steel-frame gate, three wire gates, and two stile pedestrian walkthrough gates. All measurements are to be verified by the contractor. Standard drawing Specifications are attached. In cases where they may conflict, drawings supersede other guidance.
B. Location: The project site is shown on the attached access map (Map 1) and detail site plan map (Map 2) in the drawings package. The project site is remote, and although the main parking/staging area near the cemetery (see Map 2) is accessible by passenger car, portions of the fence are only accessible via ATV or on foot.
