The 673d Contracting Squadron is contemplating a construction award for to remove two (2) 2500-Gallon JP-8 State of Alaska regulated Underground Storage Tank (UST) systems to include Automatic Tank Gauges (ATG), fuel piping and dispensers. Any voids left in the ground will be filled, graded and hydroseeded. Excavation to not exceed approximately 72 inches in depth. Contractor must follow rules and regulations of the ABW Wing Form 3 approved by USAF. The apparent awardee will be required to submit, upon request by the Contracting Officer, a statement of qualification to complete the work called for in the SOW, referenced drawings, and specifications. The contractor’s statement shall include a minimum of three examples of past performance by the contractor completing projects requiring the closure and removal of regulated underground fuel storage tanks within the state of Alaska within the last ten (10) years. The general contractor shall be certified ADEC UST workers and send copies of certifications as part of the technical requirement.
IAW FAR 36.204(e), Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
