KSU: Athletics Catering Services

Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide KSU: Athletics Catering Services to the Kennesaw State University (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
Kennesaw State University (KSU), located northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County near historic Kennesaw Mountain, is the second-largest university in Georgia and one of the fifty largest public universities in the country. A member of the University System of Georgia, Kennesaw State is a comprehensive university recognized for its entrepreneurial spirit, global engagement, and sense of community.  Kennesaw State is a residential institution with a growing population of more than 47,000 students and 4,000 employees.

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia approved the creation of the Kennesaw State University Athletic Association in August 2011. A Division I school, KSUAA supports 18 intercollegiate sports programs. The University announced the addition of NCAA Division I FCS football in 2013.

The KSUAA is dedicated to strict compliance with all NCAA rules and interpretations. The Compliance Office at Kennesaw State ensures the athletic program is adhering to NCAA rules and regulations.  Maintaining institutional control is imperative to continue the growth and success of Owl Athletics. Proper rules compliance is the concern of everyone associated with KSU and KSUAA, and everyone plays a role.

Kennesaw State University Athletics Association invites interested companies to submit strategic proposals to supply catering services ¿ equipment, personnel, and labor ¿ necessary to outfit qualified premium area needs of Football, Basketball, Baseball and Volleyball.  The KSUAA spends approximately $90,000 - $100,000 dollars annually on catering services.
