A need is anticipated for Contractors to perform temporary HVAC installation and management services at Fort Bliss, Texas Garrison in response to demand orders (as the need arises) within a specified timeline of Emergency, Urgent, and Routine. The installed HVAC units shall maintain required temperatures per Army Regulation 420-1 (Cooling Season 74 Fahrenheit plus or minus 2 degrees; Heating season 72 degrees Fahrenheit plus or minus 2 degrees). Upon issuance of the demand order for service the Contractor will perform an initial building assessment to determine the HVAC size and material required. After the initial assessment the contractor will submit a quote for service.
In response to this sources sought, please provide:
1. Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code.
2. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a primecontractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any.
3. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience.
4. Information to help determine if the requirement is commercially available, including
pricing information, basis for the pricing information (e.g., market pricing, catalog
pricing), and delivery schedules for HVAC units in the range of 1 ton to 80 ton
capacities.
5. Identify how the Army can best structure these contract requirements to facilitate
competition by and among small business concerns.
