RFCSP - Insurance Coverage (Real & Business Personal Property; General Liability; Educators Legal Liability; Auto; Crime; Cyber; Violent Acts

Carroll Independent School District ("CISD" or "District") is requesting proposals pursuant to District Board Policy FFD (Legal), for various types of insurance coverage to include Real and Business Personal Property; General Liability; Educators Legal Liability; Auto; Crime; Cyber, Violent Acts; to safeguard all District properties; faculty, staff, students, visitors and potential liability; and other insurable areas within the District's operation.  Details on each line of coverage are provided in this RFP.  The provider(s) must submit evidence of ability to insure and service the group without undue requirements of the District and/or its students.  Any alternative in coverages, limits, protection, etc. not depicted in the specifications are welcomed, but must be submitted separately as an alternate proposal.

The District may make one award for all lines of coverage or make multiple awards with different lines of coverage awarded to different vendors as determined by the best value for Carroll ISD.

The contract term for this request is for the 2026-2027 school year beginning September 1, 2026; with three (3) option years in one (1) year increments at the mutual agreement between the District and the vendor.

The District reserves the right to postpone the deadline through an addendum, as needed.  The District also reserves the right to reject any or all proposal(s) and to accept the proposal(s) which offer the best advantage to CISD.

Procurement results will become available after approval by the Board of Trustees.

As of the issuance date of this request through the closing date; contact with Carroll ISD employees, with the exception of the Purchasing Department, is strictly prohibited.  All personnel representing Carroll ISD are specifically directed not to hold meetings, conferences, or technical discussions with any vendor for purposes of responding to this request.  Any vendor found to be acting in any other way contrary to this statement will be disqualified from entering into any contract that may result from this request.
