|
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified Offerors to establish term contract(s), through competitive negotiations to provide professional architectural/engineering (“A/E”) consulting, construction/project administration/management, and related services for Middlesex County, Virginia.
Services shall be provided on an “as needed” basis in accordance with the requirements herein.

1 SCOPE OF SERVICES: Services will include, but not limited to:
A. EVALUATION STUDIES: Review existing plans and data and analyze existing conditions, attend and participate in meetings, conduct field surveys, inspections, investigations, and evaluations, prepare reports, and construction cost estimates.
B. DESIGN SERVICES: Perform preliminary design, survey, final design, and preparation of contract documents and bidding assistance to include attendance at pre-bid meetings, bid review and recommendation of award.
C. CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION/MANAGEMENT SERVICES: Provide construction administration/management services and technical assistance, as requested, for construction phase meetings, shop drawing review, field engineering services for construction inspection, and preparation of record drawings.
