• Notice: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Santa Clara County Office of Education (hereinafter
referred to as SCCOE), will receive up to, but not later than 3:00 PM on Friday June 14, 2024 sealed bids from
interested contractors for the award of a contract for the following:
REFRESH OF 1ST FLOOR NORTH & SOUTH RESTROOMS (4 RESTROOMS TOTAL). WORK IS TO BE
PERFORMED ON AN AFTERHOURS (AFTER 5:00 PM ON WEEKDAYS) OR WEEKEND BASIS.
No offer of intent should be construed from this legal notice that the SCCOE intends to enter into a contract with the
interested company for the above projects unless, in the sole opinion of the SCCOE, it is in the best interest of the
SCCOE to do so. The SCCOE reserves the right to negotiate final contractual terms with the lowest responsive bidder.
• Job Walk: SCCOE will conduct a pre-bid work site job walk on the following day:

• Questions: Interested firms should direct questions to the Submittal Contact via email, no later than
Tuesday June 11, 2024 at 9:00 AM.
• Bid Submittal: Bids must be delivered to the SCCOE at the following location: 1290 Ridder Park Drive, San Jose,
CA 95131-2304, Attention: Purchasing Department, up to but not later than 3:00 PM on Friday June 14, 2024.
• Bids may be delivered in person or via US Mail, Fed Ex, UPS or other courier. Bids not received in the Purchasing
Department by the specified date and time will be returned unopened. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to see
that the bid is received in proper time at the address and department noted therein.

The contractor must be a licensed California contractor to bid on and perform the contract for the above Project.
• Withdrawal: Companies may not withdraw proposals for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for opening of
proposals.
