NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO Production Resource Group, LLC.
Requirement Title: Arsenal of Freedom Event Planning Support Services
The Government submits this notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for Event Planning Support Services to Production Resource Group, LLC. This event will support the Department of War Arsenal of Freedom tour in Louisville, Colorado. The performance for this effort will occur on February 23, 2025. The applicable NAICS Code for this effort is 561920 – Convention & Meeting Facilities & Service: Comprehensive event services, including planning, venue, and AV/staging for conventions and meetings | Size Standard $20M. The total estimated value under the simplified acquisition threshold.
This sole source contracting action is pursuant to FAR 13.106-1 (b) “ Soliciting from a single source.” The circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available
Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Department of War and the obligations in Executive Order 14222, “Implementing the President's 'Department of Government Efficiency' Cost Efficiency Initiative.”
The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely at the discretion of the Government. The Government has conducted extensive market research and determined that no other vendor possesses the unique qualifications, proprietary methodologies, and proven expertise required to fulfill this critical mission. Any information received in response to this notice will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interests of the Government despite the results of the Government’s prior market research. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
