JIT Cattle Tags

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal Plant Health Inspection Services, National Veterinary Services (USDA/APHIS/NVSL) in Kansas City, MO is in need of a firm fixed price, Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract for cattle backtags. All pricing to be inclusive of all costs including but not limit to overhead, general and administrative, profit, insurance, and delivery. The period of performance is not to exceed five years.

• Sample Submission Articles will be required at no additional cost to the government.

• These quantities are only an estimate and are not guaranteed. Tags are ordered in units of 1,000. Currently, about 2,600,000 tags are ordered each month (or 2,600 boxes). That is not a guaranteed amount; however, it provides context for the production possibly needed.

• The Government will issue orders requiring delivery to multiple destinations or performance at multiple locations.

This solicitation for commercial supplies was written in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Part 13. The solicitation number is 12639525Q0031 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ).

The anticipated effective date of the contract shall be on or about April 1, 2025.

In accordance with FAR Clause 52.216-27 Single or Multiple Awards. (Oct 1995), the Government may elect to award multiple IDIQ contracts to one or more contractors under this solicitation.
