Request for Bond Counsel Qualifications
The City of Quitman is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Bond Counsel firms to provide bond counseling services related to water system improvements. Quitman has been approved for capital improvement funding through the Arkansas Natural Resource Commission (ANRC). All SOQ’s are required to be sealed. One (1) hard copy of your Statement must be mailed to:
P.O. Box 141 Quitman, AR 72131 or #5 2nd Street, Quitman, AR 72131 no later than April 27, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
The City of Quitman reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any or all formalities and technicalities.
Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated §22-9-203, Quitman encourages all qualified small, minority, and women-owned businesses to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. SOQ’s shall be submitted in sealed envelopes labeled: Bond Counsel Services SOQ with the name and address of the respondent.
