AEOLIA DRIVE SEWER AND WATER REPLACEMENT PROJECT
IN THE CITY OF AUBURN, CALIFORNIA


PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Auburn as AGENCY, invites sealed bids for the
above stated project and will receive such bids in the office of the City Clerk, 1225 Lincoln Way, Auburn, California 95603 up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., on weekday the 24th day of April, 2025. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 p.m. on the 24th day of April, 2025, in the City Council Chambers. The date and time shall be extended by no less than 72 hours if the officer, department, or Project Manager issues any material changes, additions, or deletions to the invitation later than 72 hours prior to the bid closing. Any bids received after the time specified above or any extension due to material changes shall be returned unopened.


Project Name: AEOLIA DRIVE SEWER AND WATER REPLACEMENT PROJECT


Project Description: The project to be constructed shall consist of the replacement of both the Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) potable water facilities and City of Auburn sewer pipelines and associated service connections along Aeolia Drive in Auburn CA.

Opinion of Probable Cost: $1,700,000

Copies of the plans, specifications, and contract documents are available from the City of Auburn, Public Works Department through the City’s website at https://www.auburn.ca.gov/Bids.aspx. Contract Documents are also available for downloading through Public Purchase at
https://www.publicpurchase.com/gems/auburn,ca/buyer/public/home. Contractors submitting bids are strongly encouraged to register as a City of Auburn vendor through Public Purchase. Hard copies of plans, specifications, and contract documents are not available from the City.

The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals required to complete the improvements shown on the Contract Documents.

Bids must be prepared on the approved bid forms in conformance with INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS and submitted in the envelopes provided, sealed and plainly marked on the outside:

“SEALED BID FOR AEOLIA DRIVE SEWER AND WATER REPLACEMENT PROJECT
DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL”


A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for April 10th, 2025 at 2:00 pm. The pre-bid
conference will be located at the Project Site (near 350 Aeolia Drive, Auburn CA 95603).
