UDOT- Strawberry MS4 Project

This Invitation for Bids "IFB" is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or the Utah Administrative Code, then Utah Procurement Code and then Utah Administrative Code will take precedence.
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide construction services related to Improve Drainage structure at Strawberry UDOT Station. The project is to construct a reinforced concrete divider wall across the existing evaporation pond with access grating and handrails. The wall will have two openings controlled by manually operated screw gates. The existing geosynthetic liner will be removed as needed for construction of the divider wall and resealed. A concrete waterway will be constructed to divert surface runoff to the pond. Concrete flatwork will be placed around the existing manholes.
This contract will result in one contract award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
UDOT reserves the right to determine if a bidder is responsible based on past MS4 projects. If a firm has previously been awarded MS4 projects, that firm's projects must have been completed without excessive delays and warranty issues (this includes completion before the substantial completion date.)Any current MS4 projects not completed must not be in a liquidated damage state."
Project must be completed by September 30th, 2025 .
The Awarded contractor will need to submit a performance and payment bond upon reward.
Mandatory Site visit:
Date/Time: Wednesday June 11th 2025 at 9:00 am.
Location: UDOT maintenance facility is located US 40 Milepost 41.95
The meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 pm and if you are late you may be asked to not participate in the site visit and not allowed to submit a bid.
Issuing Procurement Unit, Conducting Procurement Unit, and Solicitation Number
The UDOT Procurement Services Division is the issuing procurement unit and Region 3 is the conducting procurement unit for this IFB (referred to as “the State”). The reference number for this IFB is Solicitation #UDOT. This solicitation number must be referred to on all bids, correspondence, and documentation submitted to the State relating to this IFB.
The documents included within this solicitation are intended to provide interested bidders with sufficient information to enable the bidder to determine if they can provide as per the outlined requirements.
Bidders must provide sufficient documentation/information to demonstrate compliance with the stated specifications/requirements.
