INVITATION TO BID
Separate sealed bids for Spring Street Sewer Improvements, Project No. 2022002, will be received by City of Hot Springs Purchasing Office located at 324 Malvern Avenue, 2nd Floor Conference Room, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901 until 2:00 p.m. (local time), on Monday, May 12, 2025, at which time and location bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed “City of Hot Springs, 324 Malvern Avenue, 2nd Floor Conference Room, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901” and shall be labeled “Bid for Spring Street Collection System Improvements, Project No. 2022002”. Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened.
This project includes the construction of a sanitary sewer main within the City of Hot Springs and the National Park. The project includes approximately 2,600 linear feet of 18-inch PVC sewer pipe, 3,500 linear feet of 15-inch PVC sewer pipe, 2,200 linear feet of 10 and 12-inch to 16-inch HDPE pipe burst, 900 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE carrier sewer pipe, 300 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sewer pipe, 60 linear feet of 8-inch to 8-inch HDPE pipe burst, 70 linear feet of 20-inch Steel Encasement for an aerial creek crossing, 105 linear feet of 20-inch Steel Encasement for Bridge Hanging, 500 linear feet 24-inch Steel Encasement Pipe via jack and bore, 24 5-foot diameter manholes, and 20 4-foot diameter manholes.

Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from Hawkins-Weir Engineers.
Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
A Pre-Bid Conference with optional attendance by a representative of all prime Bidders for this project will be held at the City of Hot Springs Parks and Recreation Conference Room,
111 Opera St, Suite A, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Directions to the site will be given at the Pre-Bid Conference and a tour will begin at the site after the meeting.
All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes.
The City of Hot Springs reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 90 days from the Bid opening date.
This publication was paid for by the City of Hot Springs, and the cost of the publication is $527.52, per Arkansas Code 14-55-208 and related statutes.
