Entrance Security Renovation Projects

BID REQUEST Solanco School District, Quarryville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania will receive sealed bids for Entrance Security Renovation Projects at Quarryville Elementary, Bart-Colerain Elementary, and Providence Elementary Schools. Bids will be received until February 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm EST. Bids will be received by Dillow Associates Architects on behalf of the Solanco School District at the Administrative Office located at 121 South Hess Street, Quarryville, PA 17566, where they will be opened and read aloud. Anyone with disabilities requiring special accommodation must contact the Solanco School District not later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening. Contractors may bid on each project individually or all three projects together. Mandatory Pre-Bid Meetings are scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2024 at the following times: 2:00 pm EST (Bart Colerain Elementary School); 2:45 pm EST (Quarryville Elementary School); 3:15 pm EST (Providence Elementary School). All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing legibly on the exterior, the following: 1. Entrance Security Projects for Solanco School District 2. Architect 3. Date 4. Contractor’s Name, Address, and Phone Number Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond of a surety company legally authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of PA, in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. The Federal Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage rates apply. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Performance Bond,100% Payment Bond and a Contractor’s Qualification Statement. Solanco School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept or reject any parts thereof, or items therein, and to waive any defects or irregularities in bids and bid securities, and to make the award that is determined to be in the best interest of the District.
