The Town of Dover invites bidders to submit ELECTRONIC sealed
bids for the DPW Fuel System Replacement. This project consists
of but not limited to construction of a new fuel system (with canopy
and above ground storage tank) on the Dover DPW lot and the
subsequent removal of the existing above ground fuel system on
the lot. Final completion: within 180 days. Bidding is per the MGL
Chapter 30s 39M. Prevailing wage rates per MGL c149 s26 to
27D inclusive issued by Dept. of Labor Standards.
Request Bidding Documents (no cost) electronically at www.
biddocsonline.com.
Non-mandatory pre-bid conference: 10:00 AM local time on April,
2nd, 2026.
Electronic Bids will be received until 11:00 AM local time on April
16th, 2026 through BidDocs ONLINE only (www.biddocsonline.
com) with Bid security of 5% of total bid. Hard copy bids will not
be accepted. Bids will then be publicly opened online.
The DPW Fuel System Replacement project funds are dependent
upon appropriation at the Dover Town Meeting scheduled to begin
Monday, May 4, 2026. If funding is approved at Annual Town
Meeting, a contract award will be issued in early July at the start of
the Town's fiscal new year.
The Town of Dover reserves the right to waive any informalities,
reject any or all bids, or to accept any total bid or unit price which it
deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Dover.
