| Contract Description/Overview: | The NEORSD is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for professional services contracts for General Engineering Services -Wastewater Treatment (GES-14, 15) and Civil/Structural/Architectural (GES-16, 17) The purpose of the General Engineering Services (GES) Contracts is to provide a contract mechanism for professional services for a wide variety of minor tasks on an as needed basis where the time and expense of issuing and administering Requests for Proposals is prohibitive. - GES - Wastewater Treatment (GES-14) - GES-14 will cover the standard General Engineering Service type of tasks for plant or pump station evaluation and design tasks. It will have a value of $2,000,000. - GES - Wastewater Treatment (GES-15) - GES-15 will cover the standard General Engineering Service type of tasks for plant or pump station evaluation and design tasks. It will have a value of $2,000,000. - GES - Wastewater Treatment (GES-16) - GES-16 will cover General Engineering Service type of tasks that are of a Civil, Architectural or Structural discipline. It will have a value of $1,000,000. - GES - Wastewater Treatment (GES-17) - GES-17 will cover General Engineering Service type of tasks that are of a Civil, Architectural or Structural discipline. It will have a value of $1,000,000. |

| General Instructions: | Each consultant shall submit one original and five (5) copies of the proposal, as well as an electronic version, in .pdf format with bookmarks, on either a CD or USB drive. The font size on all submitted materials shall be equivalent to Times New Roman 12 pt or larger. Proposals shall be no more than 30 printed pages, with hard copies printed on sheets of double-sided recycled paper. All pages will be counted (i.e., each side of a sheet will count as a unique page, so one double-sided sheet will be counted as two pages) unless indicated otherwise in this RFP. Sheets that are 11"x17" shall be counted as two pages per side, or four pages if double sided. |
| Pre-Bid Conference Information: | A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting for consultants will be held at 9:00a.m. on October 7, 2025 at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District's Headquarters at 3900 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115. All interested consultants including MBE, WBE and SBEs may want to attend this meeting in order to obtain a better understanding of the Contract and their possible role either as a sub-consultant or a prime. Questions regarding this RFP shall be directed to Mr. Bruce Buchanan at the pre-proposal meeting or at other times by sending an e-mail to BuchananH@neorsd.org. |
