Solicitation is in accordance with FAR 13.5 and FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. RFQ SPE4A8-25-Q-0017. Procurement of TWO (2) THERMAL SPRAY SYSTEMS With TWO (2) DUST COLLECTORS And ASSOCIATED ACCESSORIES in accordance with Purchase Description VIBB 23-30-1330 dated September 26, 2023. The contractor shall provide One (1) Thermal Spray System With Dust Collector And Associated Accessories (1 each), One (1) Thermal Spray System With Dust Collector And Associated Accessories (1 each), External Services (Removing Existing Machine) (2 each), Training (2 each), Technical Data (2 each), IUID Tag (2 each), Installation (2 each), and Shipping(2 each). Quantity two (2) each. This solicitation will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract. Non NSN item. FOB at Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. QAP 175a shall apply. All contractual performance period requirements shall be complete within 340 days after receipt of award.
This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue the contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), other than full and open competition applies and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA), past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The estimated solicitation issue date is March 19, 2025.
