NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Hoonah Airport Rehabilitation - Electrical Design Services

RFP Number 25243026

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to include Electrical engineering design services to support DOT&PF's in-house project team, which will be responsible for the Civil design of the Hoonah Airport Rehabilitation project.

The Consultant selected will provide professional electrical engineering services as required for the replacement of the airfield lighting systems, NAVAIDs, and as needed to support the development of Utility agreements and FAA reimbursable agreements (RA's).

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from November 15, 2024to December 31, 2028. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $100,000-$150,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available September 30, 2024 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK  99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4420. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than October 21, 2024, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau.  Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages. Proposals may be submitted by email to: srdotpfcontracts@alaska.gov

If you download a Request for Proposal (over $100,000) from this page, you must register with the respective regional plans room to be placed on the planholders list for that project and to receive subsequent addenda.    Every effort will be made by the Department to ensure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued.  Addenda may be issued by any reasonable method such as mail, telefacsimile, express delivery service, and electronic posting to this website.  It is the Offeror’s responsibility to ensure that he has received all addenda affecting the RFP.  No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
