The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Simplified Acquisition Procedures under 41 USC 1901(e)(2) IAW the requirements of 10 USC ยง3204(e) to Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation, a Small Business. This anticipated contract action will be a firm-fixed price purchase order for twenty (20) Delay Generators (P/N: 577-8C-L82-L82-L82-L82-IL130-COM-US) and ten (10) Dual Rack Mounts (P/N: 6978). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and the Product Service Code (PSC) code is 6625, Electrical and Electronic Properties Measuring and Testing Instruments. The requirement is to be delivered Free on Board (FOB) Destination to Arnold, AFB, TN.
The Government requires these specific part numbers due to integration requirements with existing range facility testing systems. Attempting to integrate or mix/match other brands of delay generators can be problematic during and after integration into the testing systems and could affect test operations and/or data collection integrity.
