Solicitation Summary

The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission is currently soliciting bids for the Shangri-La & South Essex Drive Waterline Replacement Phase 2, Project 8202WL. The Work will entail installation of 8” water main and abandonment of the existing 8” water main along South Essex Drive from Great Mills Road to Shangri-La Drive and along Shangri-La Drive from South Essex Drive to FDR Boulevard intersection, including replacement of all fire hydrants and transfer of all water services from the existing water main to the new main primarily located in the area of LEXINGTON PARK, MARYLAND.

Additional Instructions

One original and one copy of all bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the company name, legal address, the project title for which the bid is submitted and the date advertised for opening bids. Sealed bids must be addressed to Tanya Parker, Procurement Agent, and clearly marked “SEALED BID FOR SHANGRI-LA & SOUTH ESSEX DRIVE WATERLINE REPLACMENT PHASE 2, PROJECT #8202WL” and received at the Commission’s Administrative Office until the date and time shown below. At that time the bids will be publicly opened and read.

A Pre-Bid conference will be held on the date and time shown above at the Commission’s Administrative Office located at 23121 Camden Way, California, Maryland, 20619 to review the requirements outlined in the Bid Package. A site visit will follow immediately after the Pre-Bid conference. All potential bidders are highly encouraged but not required to attend. This will be the only opportunity for a site visit, otherwise warranted by the Project Manager.
