RFP # 1559-16 / 1559-17 Construction Manager at Risk Services for the Renovation and Modernization of St. Botolph
Note: Only Prequalified Contractors from BHA RFQ No. 1559-16 Are Eligible to Submit Proposal for this BHA RFP No. 1559-16 / 1559-17.
The St. Botolph Housing Corporation (the “Owner”), which is an instrumentality of the Boston Housing Authority (hereinafter, "BHA") is requesting proposals for Construction Management at Risk Services for the Renovation and Modernization of St. Botolph Apartments. Firms which have submitted Statements of Qualification in response to the Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) issued by BHA and have been selected as qualified may submit proposals for services to be performed on the site. BHA intends to award a Construction Manager at Risk with a Guaranteed Maximum Price contract for the above referenced project.

Bidders shall submit one (1) hardcopy and one (1) electronic copy on a USB flash drive in PDF format of each of the Technical and Price Proposals to:

The hard and electronic copy of each document shall be titled as:
“Offeror’s Name-St. Botolph Apartments – Technical Proposal”
“Offeror’s Name-St. Botolph Apartments – Price Proposal”
The estimated construction cost is $32,500,000. The project is subject to Federal Davis Bacon and State prevailing wage requirements and reporting. Bidders should assume the higher of Federal Davis Bacon or State Prevailing wages. Bidders should assume the Project is to be tax-exempt. The Project is located at 70 St Botolph Street, Boston, MA. The existing building is an 8- story steel-and-concrete framed structure with concrete and masonry exterior consisting of 132 residential units and community spaces for an elderly and non-elderlydisabled population.
