    The date of availability for this project is January 14, 2026.
    The completion date for this project is December 15, 2026.
    There are NO DBE Goals for this project.
    The North Caolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for Grading, Drainage, Sidewalk, Curb and
    Gutter, Paving and Signals on I-40/I-85 Bus/South Elm-Eugene Interchange (I-5964);
    SR 2526 (Summit Ave) at US 70 (Wendover Ave) East Exit & On Ramp (W-5807A) in Guilford County,
    NC. All quantities are estimates. The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment and materials.
    Contractor’s bidding on NCDOT contracts must sign up for the Interested Parties List for each project
    they intend to submit a bid. As part of this requirement, Contractors must sign up for the Interested
    Parties List no later than one business day prior to the Letting Date.
    The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil
    Rights of 1964 (78 Stat. 252) and the Regulations of the Department of Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued
    pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract entered into
    pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of
    sex, race, color, or national origin.
    BID OPENING
    Electronic bids must be received in Bid Express, by 2:00 on December 18, 2025. Bids will be opened and
    publicly read at NCDOT Division 7 Office, 1584 Yanceyville Street, Greensboro, NC at the above date, shortly

    download does not start until 2:00 PM on the day of the letting.

    The contract proposal, plans and supplemental project information are available online at:

    The printing of all bid-related documents, including the proposal, plans and any supplemental project information
    shall be the responsibility of the bidder. Division 7 no longer provides hard copies of bid documents.
    PREQUALIFYING TO BID
    All prospective bidders shall be prequalified with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid.
    Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the Contractual
    Services Unit, Division of Highways, Department of Transportation, 1509 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC. All
    required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the Contractual Services Unit at least four
    weeks prior to the date of opening bids.
