INVITATION TO TENDER

RM OF SOURIS VALLEY NO. 7
6 MILES OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION

SEALED TENDERS, marked for the Construction of “6 Miles of Road Construction”, will be received at the RM Office (or by email rm07@sasktel.net or fax 1-306-456-2480) up to 3:00 p.m. on April 7, 2025.

A summary of work is as follows:
* Approximately 6 miles of road construction on TWP 032 between Highway 35 East to ighwayRGE RD 2133. Council would like this to be tendered in 2 x 3 mile sections.... ideally 3 miles in 2025 and 3 miles in 2026.

* Constructing the road to a minimum standard of an 8 meter top, 4:1 slopes, full reclamation of the ditches.

* The installation of culverts if necessary so as to not impede the natural flow of water (the RM will supply the culverts).

* The installation of approaches for farm equipment to have access to the fields on each quarter section.

* RM will supply grass type, contractor to seed.

* The RM will supply the gravel.

Approach development specifications
1. All approaches shall be constructed at 45 feet wide.
2. All approaches shall have a culvert installed.

All approaches should be a MINIMUM 3:1 side slope, 5:1 preferred.
Each approach shall have a 30 meter setback from an intersection.
Culverts should be set back away from the center of the approach in order to aid the RM’s annual mowing program.

A start date and completion date of the project must be stated clearly in submitted tender.

The RM is responsible for all landowners permissions needed.

Tenders must be accompanied by a Letter of Good Standing with WCB, a list of equipment with rates.

The lowest of any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
