Description

Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee Software to the University of Georgia - Office of Research (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
The University of Georgia is soliciting qualified proposals to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who provides IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee) software solutions to enhance and streamline the management, oversight, and compliance of animal research and teaching protocols within our institution. This software aims to provide a comprehensive and integrated solution that facilitates the entire lifecycle of animal research, from protocol submission and review to ongoing monitoring and reporting.
An Agency Contract will be awarded to the highest scoring responsive and responsible supplier with whom UGA can reach agreement on terms and conditions. The Agency Contract award will be for one year initiallywith four subsequent annual renewals available at UGA's discretion. This award structure allows ample time for design and implementation of any chosen system and flexibility for long-term use of that system here at UGA.  All responses to this solicitation must include a Statement of Work with a detailed timeline for installation/implementation along with their system specifications. Along with the Statement of Work and their responses to the RFP questions in this solicitation, suppliers must submit a completed Cost Worksheet that details the pricing information for their proposals. Please do not include cost information within your responses to the RFP questions in the solicitation. Suppliers should read and complete all other requirements as listed in 51800-eRFP-000001225-2025 to be considered for the award. The final contract award will be conditional upon UGA¿s internal CESS review process for risk assessment and compliance with BOR Policy which can be reviewed here: https://www.usg.edu/information_technology_services/it_h
