Description


Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of street and drainage improvements to Circle K Road & Ranch Road in Coffee County, Georgia until (10:00AM) (local time), Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and read. This project shall be funded with the county¿s Fiscal Year 2026 Local Maintenance & Improvements Grant funds.

The meeting will be held at Coffee County Board of Commissioners¿ Office and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Wesley Vickers, County Administrator for the Coffee County Board of Commissioners, 224 West Ashley Street, Suite E, Douglas, Georgia 31533. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Coffee County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

The Scope of Work Includes:
Street and Drainage Improvements to Circle K Road & Ranch Road. (Total 0.478 Miles)

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Coffee County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Coffee County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the notice to proceed.
