Project Description: The Reimagine 9th Street - One-Way to Two-Way - Conversion of Muhammad Ali and Chestnut includes the conversion from One-Way to Two-Way of Muhammad Ali Street and Chestnut Street between Southpark Drive and 9th Street including re-striping, changes to signage, signal improvements, minor pavement, sidewalk, and median reconstruction. Bidders and DBE subcontractors must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. Bidder is required to furnish a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal established for this contract is six percent (5%) of the total value of the contract. The Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 10th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at 444 S 5th St Room 101.
