Project Description: The Jordan Basin Improvement District, formerly known as the South Valley Sewer District, (the “District”) provides wastewater infrastructure and services for portions of Salt Lake County and Utah County, Utah. The District’s collection system is comprised of approximately 1,089 miles of sanitary sewer lines and 27,000 manholes. The District owns and operates a 15 MGD membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment plant known as the Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility (JBWRF).
Jordan Basin Improvement District (JBID) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors who are capable of providing monthly utility billing printing and mailing services associated with approximately 60,000 customer accounts, billed monthly.
The District utility bills include charges relating to wastewater and pretreatment. The District manages its customer account information using Caselle Connect. This software is used to generate the data files used for utility billing operations. The typical monthly billing process involves calculating, printing, and mailing out bills in the first full week of the month. The District sends out two billings each month; one for sewer and one for entities with Pretreatment. The single-page bills are printed on 8 ½” x 11” paper. The bills are formatted differently.
