Parking Ramp Rehabilitation and Expansion
City Project(s) 1-2023 and 2-2023
The City of Minot, ND is making two Requests for Proposals to redevelop two parking garages (ramps). The Renaissance Ramp (City Project 1-2023) is located at 205 1st Street SW, between 2nd Avenue SW and 3rd Avenue SW. The Central Ramp (City Project 2-2023) is located at 5 1st Street SW, between Central Avenue West and 1st Avenue SW. The reinforced concrete garages (ramps) can accommodate mixed uses including housing and office and uses, and residential uses.
Both ramps underwent construction in 2013 and were completed in 2016. The ramps were designed and built to accommodate five-story, wood-framed apartments above the current structure. Both ramps occupy half a downtown block on a gently sloping street with three street fronts and an alley.
