Amendment 0001- The purpose of this amendment is to remove the set-aside and reclassify the solicitation as unrestricted.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Manhattan, KS requires various delivery of compressed and liquefied gases.
In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 5 and 12, this Request for Quote (RFQ), number 1232SA25Q0759, is available through electronic commerce via the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This RFQ is being issued under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325120 - Industrial Gas Manufacturing. The applicable small business size standard is 1,200 employees.
The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with a base plus four (4) option periods.
The resulting award will include the Contract Line Items (CLINs) as listed below:

4001- Option Year 4: compressed and liquefied gases 25 different deliveries of to maintain environmental conditions to support cells, virus & bacterial growth
This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05 dated August 7, 2025 Revised (Attachment 1).
Vendors are required to be active and registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov when submitting a quote and at time of award (FAR 52.204-7(b)(1).
Quotes are due no later than September 23, 2025, 10:00 AM Eastern Time. Quotes must be submitted electronically, e-mailed to osvaldo.rodriguez@usda.gov; no faxed or hard copy quotes are allowed.
