ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of the Leslie Water System Improvements – Phase II to serve The City of Leslie will be received by The City of Leslie, until 11:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, December 5th, and then at the City Hall at 516 Main St, Leslie, Arkansas, 72645 publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the following:
-The replacement of approximately 12,000 L.F. of six-inch (6”) SDR-17 PVC water main
-The replacement of approximately 1,500 L.F. of four-inch (4”) SDR-17 PVC water main
-The replacement of approximately 1,500 L.F. of two-inch (2”) SDR-17 PVC water main
-±3,500 L.F. of one-inch (1”) service line & reconnecting existing meters
-Ductile iron fittings, hydrants, blow-off valves and all appurtenances for a complete installation as shown on the Plans and as specified.
-The project also consists of the replacement of miscellaneous appurtenances that include blow-offs, fire hydrants, and gate valves.
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Engineering Services, Inc..
Printed copies may be obtained at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri Road, P.O. Box 282, Springdale, Arkansas 72765, Phone 479-751-8733, upon a non-refundable payment of One Hundred dollars ($100.00) for each set. Digital copies may be obtained through QuestCDN or through www.engineeringservices.com upon a non-refundable payment of Forty dollars ($40.00).
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
This publication was paid for by the City of Leslie, in the amount of $295.16.
