The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission seeks bids from qualified Contractors for as-needed and scheduled paving and road remediation services. Services may be performed in the Greater Springfield area, primarily in the City of Springfield and Town of Ludlow. Services will consist of rolling, paving, and restoration of portions of the public way, as well as any adjacent private property, that may be disturbed due to Commission water/sewer work.
A single Contractor will be awarded a Commission contract. The term of the Contract shall be for One (1) Year with 2- One year in length renewal options, to be exercised at it the Commissions sole discretion. The amount of the contract shall not exceed $200,000.00 per year. The bid is governed by Massachusetts General Laws (MGL) Ch.30 Sec. 39M and other Statutes. Contractor must pay prevailing wages wherever applicable.
All questions must be made in writing and submitted via email to edward.sweeney@waterandsewer.org no later than September 16, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. in order to be considered. The Chief Procurement Officer/designee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the SWSC to do so.
