- Summary:This project entails the construction of improvements to Eugene Simpson Stadium Park as shown in the attached Plans and as detailed in the Technical Specifications. These improvements include, but are not limited to, improved park access and wayfinding, parking lot and vehicular circulation improvements with additional onsite parking, dedicated storage and concessions buildings, site furnishings and shade structure, native landscaping, and vegetated buffers, bioretention facilities, and improved passive use areas. New and renovated ballfields include installation of new dugouts, bleachers, batting cages, synthetic turf and natural turf playing surfaces (one each), and press boxes will be installed at each field. The basketball court will be reconfigured and replaced. As part of the project, an existing stormwater outfall on E. Monroe Ave will be connected to the downstream stormwater system. The solicitation will not be provided in the eVA system, only in the City's Vendor Self Service System
