Project Description: Tredyffrin Township will receive bids from qualified contractors for the Gregory Lane Stormwater Management and Drainage Improvement Project (Phase 1) - Engineering Dept. Project #: 2025-03. The project consists of, but is not limited to, the removal, replacement, and upgrade/improvement of existing stormwater drainage infrastructure (inlets, piping, etc.), and the installation of one Underground Stormwater Storage System in a Twp. cul-de-sac., Work also includes, excavation, installation of stormwater storage units, stormwater pipe and structures, concrete curbing, pavement restorations, full/partial width roadway milling and paving, landscape restoration, as well as erosion and sediment controls, and restoration.
Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until 9:00 AM, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, when the sealed bids will be publicly opened. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). The Township Board of Supervisors (BOS) will award bids, within 60-days of the date of bid opening, at either their July 21, 2025 or August 18, 2025 regular Board Meeting.
The pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Tredyffrin Township Building, 1100 Duportail Road, Berwyn, PA. Questions must be submitted via PennBid by Tuesday June 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids, or any parts of any bids. All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders.
