Pavement Restoration/ Appeal Elementary School

The Board of Education of Calvert County, Prince Frederick, MD, is soliciting proposals from prequalified Contractors to provide bids for the Paving Project / Appeal Elementary /11655 HG Trueman Road Lusby, Maryland 20657.

Bid Documents will be made available beginning on March 13, 2026. The Invitation for Bids, including the bid specifications, drawings, and any addenda or clarifications to the bid documents are posted online at eMaryland Marketplace.

Please note that all bidders must be prequalified. The Contractor’s Qualification Questionnaire can be found online at www.calvertnet.k12.md.us and following the tabs: "Departments, Planning and Construction, Planning and Construction Forms”. Completed qualification questionnaires are due no
later than 4:00 pm on April 1, 2026 and shall be submitted electronically or hardcopy mailed to Ms. Brittany Gibson, Planning and Construction Specialist, Calvert County Public Schools, 1305 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678, gibsonb@calvertnet.k12.md.us.

The ITB package is free, and vendors are encouraged to download the package online from eMaryland Marketplace. The package can also be provided upon written request via electronic mail to
Mr. Sheldon Taylor at taylors@calvertnet.k12.md.us.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 25, 2026, 10:00 am, at Appeal Elementary/11655 HG Trueman Road Lusby, Maryland 20657. Questions related to the Bid Documents will not be answered at the prebid meeting.

Any pre-bid or Bid Document question shall be submitted via electronic mail to constructionbid@calvertnet.k12.md.us, with the subject line “PSC #04.013.26 LC Appeal Elementary Pavement Restoration”. All questions must be submitted no later 4:00 pm on April 7, 2026.

While this Project does not have a minimum percentage participation goal for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) participation, Calvert County Public Schools encourages all Certified MBE contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to respond to this solicitation notice.

Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 am on _April 15, 2026_. Immediately following the submission deadline, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
