ALL QUESTIONS, COMMUNICATIONS AND PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH BONFIRE.The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to establish contracts through competitive negotiations with certified, qualified, CMMC Third-Party Assessor Organizations (C3PAO) to provide Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Pre-Assessments, Level 1 and Level 2 Assessments, Compliance and Remediation Services for the Office of Research Integrity and Assurance Department of George Mason University. George Mason University (herein after referred to as âMason,â or âUniversityâ) is a public institution of higher education and agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia.Please note that only firms who are currently certified/accredited by the Cyber AB, the official governing body for CMMC, as Certified Third-Party Assessor Organizationâs (C3PAO) will be found responsive to this solicitation. Offerors must provide evidence of their certification/accreditation by the Cyber AB at time of proposal submission in order to be considered. Failure to provide your certification/accreditation at time of submission will result in your firmâs offer being found non-responsive. For information on The Cyber AB, the CMMC, and C3PAO please visit cyberab.org The University cannot answer any questions or inquiries concerning C3PAO accreditation, certification or the Cyber ABâs requirements. All questions related to those topics must be directed to the Cyber AB. It is the Universityâs intent to award to multiple firms under this solicitation and Indefinite Duration Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to form a pool of consultants available for future engagements for the services listed above however, it is at our absolute and sole discretion how many contracts are awarded. The selection of the firm for a contract award does not guarantee that the University will solicit that firm for any engagements or guarantee any work.See Section XI Statement of Needs for further detail.
