The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) Commodities Team (NF/SG) intends to enter a Brand Name Only procurement for Natus Medical, Inc., NeuroWorks/SleepWorks systems upgrade. The Gainesville VAMC is a VA Epilepsy Center of Excellence (ECoE) facility and requires an upgrade to the latest state of the art technology to provide optimum patient care and enhance diagnostic capabilities for Physicians.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.
The FSC/PSC is 6515. The proposed contract action is for equipment/software for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with two (2) authorized Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 and VAAR 819.7006. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement shall submit their capabilities no later than, April 9, 2025, to: cesar.sanchezamaro@va.gov . Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.

This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. No solicitation will be made available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
