Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, intends to award a sole source contract with Steris Corporation for the government owned Medivators Endoscope Disinfectors and Endoscope Storage Cabinets, under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) Only one source reasonably available (e.g, urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization), for Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado.

The sole source contract will have a period of performance base year 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025 plus four (4) option years with a period of performance 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2029. The NAICS code 811210, size standard is $34M. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.

The solicitation number is W81K00-24-Q-0074, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
