FCC BUTNER ICE MACHINES AND DISPENSERS

The Federal Correctional Complex at Butner, NC is requisitioning 9 brand name or equal Koolaire KDP0500A Ice Makers and 9 brand name or equal Manitowoc SPA312 Ice Dispensers. This requirement will be awarded following FAR Overhaul 12.201-1(c)(2). Following this presolicitation, FCC Butner will solicit quotations from at least 3 sources and award based of off lowest price techincally acceptable. The anticipated date of award is April 10, 2026. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

Products proposed must meet atleast the following qualifications to be eligible for award:

The Ice Maker must have the following qualities:

• approximately 30" W and 24" D to fit the accompanying dispenser.


• production capacity around 502 lb/24 hours


• no digital screens


• no water cooled condenser


• smudge & fingerprint resistant stainless like finish


• dice size cubes


• 115V


• Energy Star certified


• at least industry standard warranty

The Ice Dispenser must have the following qualities:

• vending ice dispenser


• approximately 30" W x 32" D to fit the accompanying ice maker


• approximately 180-lb capacity for dice ice


• bucket filling


• stainless steel exterior


• 115V


• at least industry standard warranty
