09/30/2025:

The California High-Speed Rail Authority has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to request Proposals from qualified entities (Proposers) interested and able to provide a broad range of repair and minor construction activities on a task order basis. The work will occur in the counties of Merced, Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings, and Kern. The Authority intends to award a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to three pools of businesses: one pool of large business contractors for the entire geographic region, one pool of small business contractors with varying geographic scope, and one pool of authorized utility relocation contractors. The Authority seeks responses from large businesses as well as qualified Small Business (SB), Small Business for the Purpose of Public Works (SB-PW), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) entities.

The anticipated schedule for this RFEI is as follows:

- Release: Tuesday, September 30, 2025
- Virtual Industry Forum: Friday, October 10, 2025, 10 a.m. Pacific Time
- Proposer Inquiries Deadline: Wednesday, October 24, 2025, 5 p.m. Pacific Time
- Authority Responses Posted: Wednesday, November 14, 2025
- Proposals due: Friday, December 5, 2025, 4 p.m. Pacific Time
