THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION.
This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice (SS), this is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP). No formal solicitation document exists at this present time. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice NAICS 339920 Sporting and athletic manufacturing PSC 7830 gym equipment NAIC size standard of 500 employees for the Clarksburg VAMC.

Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, a solicitation announcement may or may not be published in SEWP, sam.gov (SAM) or GSA ebuy.

Technical Requirements

The recumbent bike shall meet the VA requirement.
Resistance source: hybrid self-generating brake
Single Stage Drive system
Cushioned seat to accommodate various patient sizes
Dual sided pedals with ratcheting strap
Quick access controls
Dimensions shall not exceed 58 inches in length, 26 inches in width.
Walk-through design to allow for safe patient transferring
The weight stack/station gym shall meet the VA requirement:
4 weight stacks at least 200lb
Capable to handle all patient sizes, individual medical needs, and patient fitness levels
5 stations consisting of:
The unit to provide variety muscle groups arm, leg, upper body, lower body and core exercises.
Capable to accommodate lat pulls and shoulder presses, leg extensions and curls, chest presses and ab crunches and bicep curls and seated rows
Low Swivel Pulley
Adjustable Cable Column with dual pulleys
Dimensions shall not exceed 110 inches in length, 88 inches in width when stationary.
Dimensions shall not exceed 123 inches in length, 163 inches in width when in use.
The treadmill shall meet the VA requirement.
Speed range: at least 0.2 MPH a slow pace accommodate individuals with limited mobility and rehabilitation patients.
Incline/Decline range: 0% to 15%
Capable to handle all patient sizes, individual medical needs, and patient fitness levels
Impact system to reduce the stress on patient s joints
Medical handrails to be compatible with treadmill.
Active, Stride sensor, and Emergency User detection
Maintenance free belt
Led console
Overall dimensions shall not exceed 79 inches in length, 32.6 inches in width.
Running surface dimensions shall be at least 60 inches in length and 21 inches in width.

If a solicitation is issued, it may or may not be announced at a later date, and all interested parties shall respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this Sources Sought notice.
