It is the intent of Riley County to purchase a mower.
Pending acceptance by the Board of County Commissioners, billing statements shall be addressed to the Riley County Public Works Department, 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, Kansas 66503.
Any questions concerning the Instructions to Bidders, or the Specifications can be directed to David Willis, Parks Manager 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, Kansas 66503. Phone 785-537-6330. All proposals must be submitted on the form provided in a sealed envelope plainly marked MOWER BID PROPOSAL and delivered to the office of the County Clerk, 110 Courthouse Plaza, Manhattan, Kansas 66502. Bids received after the time specified in the Notice to Bidders will be returned unopened.

All basic components are to be shipped fully assembled ready for use or operation. The equipment offered must be new, of current model under standard production by the manufacturer. The bidder agrees if the proposal is accepted, to guarantee the design, material, and workmanship for two years on the complete machine and to replace free of charge, FOB Manhattan KS any parts that fail to meet this guarantee.
The supplier shall furnish properly executed service and warranty policies.
As per items awarded by the Riley County Board of Commissioners, the supplier shall furnish an operator’s manual, a detailed repair manual, and a parts manual for each model bid successfully.
