General work description: The proposed project consists of Construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk and accessible ramps on the south side of Konocti Rd from 500-ft west of Single Springs Dr to Oak Hills Ln. You must perform, place, construct, or install other items and details not mentioned that are required of the plans under the Standard Specifications and special provisions, and such other items of work as are required to complete the project.

A contractor may view the contract documents at no cost prior to deciding to become a plan holder. Bidders are advised that, as required by federal law, the County of Lake is implementing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements for this project. The DBE goal for this project is (6%) six percent.
The Engineer’s estimate of probable construction cost for this project is between $600,000 and $800,000. This estimate is provided for general information only and is not binding on the County. Actual bid amounts may vary, and no claim shall be made against the County on the basis of the published estimate.
The general prevailing wage rates determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, for the county or counties in which the work is to be done, are available at the County of Lake address and at https://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/DPreWageDetermination.htm. These wage rates are included in the Bid book for the project. Changes in general prevailing wage determinations apply to the Contract when the Director of Industrial Relations has issued them at least 10 days before advertisement (Labor Code § 1773.6 and 8 CA Code of Regulations 16204). All labor on this project shall be paid at not less than the minimum wage rates established by the State of California’s Director of Industrial Relations (State Wage Rates).
