INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Bedford, Massachusetts invites sealed bids for the following Vehicle/Equipment, in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B:
Electric Service Van
Contract documents may be examined and/or obtained beginning May 7, 2025 by registering online to download bid documents at
https://www.bedfordma.gov/Bids.aspx

Company name, address and contact information (phone and email) are required in the registration form. Please note that it is the Bidder’s responsibility to make certain they have received any/all addenda relating to their bid or proposal prior to the bid deadline.
Bids will be received at the Office of the Department of Public Works, 314 Great Road, Bedford, Massachusetts 01730 until Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at which time the bids will then be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after the time for receipt established in this IFB will be returned unopened. If, at the time the proposals are due, the Bedford DPW office is closed due to uncontrolled events, proposals will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. on the next day that the Bedford DPW is open. No bids may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids. Award shall be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The clock in the conference room of the Department of Public Works shall be considered official and no late bids shall be accepted.
The Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid item on the outside of the envelope and addressed to the Office of the Department of Public Works, 314 Great Road, Bedford, Massachusetts 01730.
Bids shall include the following documents:
• Specification Sheet
• Signed Bid Pricing Form
• Two (2) signed Agreements
• Certificate of Non-Collusion
• Certification of Tax Compliance
A bid deposit is not required with this bid.
If any changes are made to this IFB, an addendum will be issued. Addenda will be mailed, emailed, or faxed to all bidders on record as having received the IFB.
