Project Description: The Fellows Road at Beltway 8 improvements project provides ADA and pedestrian-accessibility near HCTRA’s Sam Houston Toll Road (precinct 1). The HCTRA Active Transportation Study (September 2022) identified 44 of 134 intersections with 99 crashes from 2016–2021, 31% causing serious injuries. High-risk areas near the Sam Houston Toll Road, like the Fellows Road and Beltway 8 location, align with Houston’s High Injury Network, necessitating safety upgrades
