INVITATION TO BID
2025 CONCRETE COST-SHARE PROJECT
Sealed bids for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado, will be received at the office of the Public Works Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, CO 81321, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, MDT at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.
The project includes removal and replacement of approximately 350 LF of curb & gutter; 590 SY of damaged concrete sidewalks; 144 SY of new concrete sidewalks; 30 SY of ADA curb ramps with truncated domes; 778 SY of concrete cart path at the Conquistador Golf Course; and miscellaneous concrete work throughout the City.
Bid Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are available at the City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, Colorado 81321, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost of Plans and Specifications is $25.00 per set, non-refundable, whether electronic or hard copy. Electronic document copies will be sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase. All documents, whether electronic or hard copy, must be purchased at the City Service Center.
There will be an informational pre-bid meeting (non-mandatory) on Thursday,
March 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. MST. All pre-bid questions shall be submitted in writing
no later than Monday, March 10, at 5:00 p.m. MDT. Owner response to questions
shall be issued no later than Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. MDT.
Bids shall be submitted in writing on the documents provided and signed by the bidder or their duly authorized agent. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked on the outside with “BID – CITY OF CORTEZ 2025 CONCRETE COST-SHARE PROJECT” and with the bidder’s name.
The City reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
