APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) is soliciting proposals for the exterior restoration of two outdoor static display aircrafts. Interested vendors are requested to attend a site visit to evaluate the two outdoor static display aircrafts and provide a proposal and price for their restoration.
MARFORSOC uses these two outdoor static display aircrafts for training purposes. Groups of students enter the aircrafts regularly for a period of instruction.
Only the exterior portion of the two aircrafts requires restoration. The inside of the aircrafts does not require restoration currently. The two aircrafts are not flightworthy and are exposed to the elements. MARFORSOC is not seeking museum quality restoration.
A completed SOW is not currently available but will be provided at a later time.
A Site Visit will be conducted on 28 August 2025 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) at Stone Bay. The purpose of the Site Visit is to allow prospective vendors the opportunity to get a better understanding of the requirement and ask questions. Vendors must submit an access request via email no later than 25 August at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) to the Contracting Office: Betty Gonzalez (beatriz.gonzalez.civ@socom.mil) and MSgt Krissia Avelares (krissia.i.avelaresvalle.mil@socom.mil). It is the vendor's responsibility to ensure they can gain both access to Camp Lejeune as well as the MARFORSOC Compound. Only proposals submitted by vendors who attend the site visit will be considered.
