Sealed bids for the Tornado Tree Pruning Service project will be received by the City of Clayton, Public Works Department, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397, until 1:00 P.M. local time, on Thrusday October 30 th , 2025. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2 nd Floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397.
The scope of this work is to remove damaged limbs, deadwood, crown reduction, crown restructure, or balancing as determined and outlined in the bid documents. All pruning shall be performed by an ISA-Certified Arborist. All pruning shall follow ANSI A300-2023 pruning standards. All work shall comply with ANSI Z133-2023 safety standards.
The selected contractor will be responsible for supplying all personnel and equipment to safely prune identified trees; remove wood chips; and clean up all remaining debris from the designated locations throughout the city.
An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, October 22 nd , 2025 in Conference RM A, 1 st Floor,10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105-3397.

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
