NOTICE TO RESPONDENTS
ITB PW 05-26 Union Avenue Drainage Improvements
Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, FL, will accept bids until 3:00 PM (CST)
November 19, 2025 for the construction of the Union Avenue Drainage Improvements ITB PW 05-26. The Project consists of
stormwater flooding mitigation along Union Avenue and Hasty Lane in Niceville. Work includes enhancing stormwater
structures to reduce flooding, erosion, and improve water quality in the bayou. Improvements include a grass swale and
trench drain system on Union Avenue, and a closed conduit storm sewer system on Bayshore Drive and Hasty Lane. All work
will occur within the existing right‐of‐way and includes clearing, drainage improvements, earthwork, grading, asphalt paving,
seeding, sodding, and other items as shown in the Plans and Contract Documents.
Interested respondents desiring consideration shall submit their response online at BidNet Direct through the link provided
below:

Unless otherwise stipulated in the bid/proposal description, all responses must be submitted using BidNet Direct only. No
other means of submission of responses will be accepted. Responses will be accepted by BidNet Direct until 3:00 p.m. (CST)
November 19, 2025, at which time all bids that are timely submitted will be opened and reviewed.
The County reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive respondent and to waive any irregularity or
technicality in bids received. Okaloosa County shall be the sole judge of the bid and the resulting Agreement that is in its best
interest and its decision shall be final.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All terms,
specifications and conditions set forth in this ITB are incorporated into your response. A bid will not be accepted unless all
conditions have been met.
Bidding documents are only available as electronic portable document format (PDF) and may be downloaded free of charge
from the BidNet Direct link above.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 AM/PM local time on November 5th, 2025 at the Okaloosa County Public
Works Office, 1759 S. Ferdon Blvd., Crestview, FL.
