Middle School Yearbook Request for Proposal
The Kirkwood School District is accepting sealed bid proposals for the printing of the
Nipher Middle School yearbook and the North Kirkwood Middle School yearbook for a
period of three (3) years: 2026-27, 2027-28, 2028-29, renewable each year.
Specifications for bid proposals are included.
Three (3) copies of the proposal must be returned to the office of the Chief Financial
Officer clearly marked on the outside of the package “Middle School Yearbook Bid” by
2:00 p.m. local time, Friday, October 24, 2025. Selected vendor(s) will be required to
enter into a contract with the district regarding the final terms of the bid/proposal, and no
bids or proposals will be available to the public until the contract has been signed by the
parties and approved by a majority of the whole Board or the Board has rejected all
bids/proposals.

The bids will be evaluated by district representatives. The final decision on the award of
the printing company will be taken to a regular Board of Education meeting.
The Kirkwood School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to
waive any irregularities therein, and accept the bid most advantageous to the
Kirkwood School District.
Specifications for each school’s yearbook are included in this document. Please include a
separate proposal for each yearbook in your package.

submission to pages. Representatives are expected to fix
errors and consult with advisers and students to improve
quality of the book
Representative must have knowledge of the Kirkwood
Community
Must have 2 full-time representatives that may service the
school
Adviser training in school on journalism education and
software training
All merchandising materials and mailers for all students
including stationery, envelopes and custom posters.
Direct mailing by company to all parents in the school to
market the yearbook. Parents must be able to purchase
online. 2 mailings must go to each parent. Direct mailings
and online sales are at no additional cost.
Itemized billing throughout the year showing budget
Flexible deadlines that are mutually agreed upon by the
school and company. Final deadline must be in April.
