Curtiss Park Pedestrian Asphalt Paving Project

Project Description:
The Town of Urbana is requesting sealed bids for paving work to be performed at Curtiss Park, located at 7 Liberty Street, Hammondsport, NY.

Work will include the following:

• Fine grading of subbase for pedestrian asphalt (approximately 6,600 square feet) after preparation by others.
• Furnishing and Installation of 2.5” Type 3 binder course for pedestrian asphalt areas.
• Furnishing and Installation of 1.5” of Type 7 top course for pedestrian asphalt areas.

Additional Information:

• Prevailing Wage Rates: Apply to this project per New York State Labor Law.
• Sales Tax: Tax on materials is excluded from bid pricing.
• Schedule: Work to commence in early spring 2026.

Bid Requirements:

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“Curtiss Park Pedestrian Asphalt Bid”
Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. The Town of Urbana reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the Town.
